Despite the 2008 financial crisis that impacted the real estate market, 1. Reality Rent managed to withstand those trying times.
Karol’s biggest business strength lies in years of building valuable contacts. After years of experience, he mainly relies on references and recommendations, not shying away from small business ventures. If someone is selling a garage one day, the next day they could be selling something way more lucrative.
Why does he enjoy being a real estate agent so much? Because of all the new people he would not otherwise meet and new places he would not otherwise visit.

Andrea Smetanová has worked in trade for over 26 years. She operates in Žilina, where she both lives and works. Her first real estate deal was renting a small apartment next to a well-known Žilina wine bar back when classified ads were still around.
She maintains that successful deals are the driving force behind this job. The good feeling intensifies when clients and acquaintances return years later to seek real estate services from her, as it shows she does her job properly.

She has started her career in real estate already as a college student in 2013. She operates in the Kysuce Region, where she also lives. Immediately upon her first sale, she understood that this job was not only about selling properties but required knowledge in geodesy, law, economics, and tax administration. Since she has always had a lot of courage, she wanted to know more.
Five years later, she got a position at the 1. Reality Rent agency, where she can freely work on her professional development and self-realization—something she is very grateful for. Apart from work security, the agency provided her with a kind of “work” family that support and invigorate each other.
Mária’s ultimate sense of gratification derives from seeing both contracting parties satisfied. Since clients often stand before huge life decisions, responsibility and professionalism are of utmost importance. She does not take working in real estate as just a job, rather as a calling.

Dávid’s decision to enter the world of real estate was influenced by the proprietor of the 1. Reality Rent, Karol Vandlik, himself. After talking to him, Dávid realized that it is an interesting job, especially for someone who wants to learn and grow.
What is more, in the real estate industry, it is not only about selling and renting, but also helping people who are facing an important life decision. Dávid is grateful to be able to be of service to them throughout the whole process.
He considers Žilina a strategic place from where you can travel in several directions. The entire region offers a large number of opportunities for trips to nature and sports activities. That is why Dávid sees it as modern and continuously developing in all respects. He himself dreams of having a family house there with a small garden where he could enjoy moments shared with his wife.

Milan Orlinský kickstarted his real estate agent career in 2013, when he would spend hours behind the screen or out in the field to find out what the job entails. Very soon came first successes, and sales started soaring, at which point Milan realized this kind of self-actualization brings him joy and fulfillment.
Just like any other real estate agent, he remembers his first sale fondly. He was able to sell a plot of land to the very second client, who came to the showing. This sale was the push Milan needed to realize that real estate was where he wanted to be. He loves the feeling of mutual agreement between the seller and the buyer, as he always tries to make sure that they both come to a fairly negotiated agreement.
The world of real estate is about getting to know new people, learning about different kinds of apartments and houses, and staying on top of the ever-changing conditions. The market keeps changing, and we all need to adapt.
